A De stoner is a machine that designed to remove the stones, mud or similar in size or shape impurities from the rice, wheat, paddy, coffee, beans and Pulses so on. That is how modern rice mill plant remove or separate both big or small stones from Paddy, rice grains, and produce commercial rice free from stones. De stoner Machine works based on the difference in grain specific gravity, grain size, shape, and surface state. When the rice de stoner works, the working table is covered with a woven wire mesh bed, through which air flows from below. Heavy impurity such as stone are not lifted by the air cushion and stay on the mesh bed. The vibratory motion of the table causes the heavy impurity(stones / sand) transported to the beginning of the regulating plate at far end of the machine. That's how a rice de stoner removes sand or stones from rice, grains.
